Random Residuals
July
The Random Residual Project began as a way to use paint remainders at the end of a session. The idea being that all the paint at the end of painting had to be applied using anything but a brush. No new colour could be added. I would go with the paint and see where we ended up.
Sometimes the result could leave an impression that recalled events or feelings as in this case when the blue and reds echoed a July lake surrounded with rose bushes.
